1. Scope of Service
irivis ("we", "us") is operated by a private individual based in Germany. We provide an AI-powered service that transforms uploaded eye photographs into studio-quality iris images ("Generated Images"). The service is available at irivis.app and any subdomains.
2. How It Works
You upload a close-up photo of your eye. Our AI processes it and generates a high-resolution iris photograph. You can preview the result (with a watermark) for free. To download the full-resolution, watermark-free image, a one-time payment of $9.99 is required.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details. The price per image is subject to change; the price displayed at checkout is binding.
4. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung)
Because the Generated Image is a digital product that is produced individually for you, the right of withdrawal does not apply once you have expressly consented to the delivery of the digital content and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356 Abs. 5 BGB). By clicking "Download Full resolution" and completing payment, you consent to immediate delivery and waive your right of withdrawal.
5. Image Storage & Deletion
All uploaded images and generated results are automatically and permanently deleted 14 days after creation. We do not retain copies beyond this period. Please download your image within this timeframe.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your uploaded photographs. Upon payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use the Generated Image for private and commercial purposes. You may not resell or sublicense the Generated Image as a standalone digital product.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Upload images you do not have the right to use
- Upload images of minors without parental consent
- Attempt to access, download, or redistribute watermarked preview images
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
8. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or fitness of the Generated Images. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific image in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at irivis.app/terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is the courts competent for the operator's place of residence.
